Dermatology Examinations/Consultations

We know how frustrating it can be to have your pet be uncomfortable and we want to make sure that we have time to thoroughly examine your pet and review the diagnostic and therapeutic options with you in detail. We ask that you please complete your VETERINARY DERMATOLOGY PATIENT HISTORY FORM prior to your pet’s appointment. Please expect that you will be at our hospital for ~60-90 minutes for an initial or extended consultation and ~30-60 minutes for a recheck examination. This time will allow us to obtain a detailed history/update from you, perform a complete exam, and obtain and interpret cytology (microscopic) samples if indicated. We will review all of this with you as well as discuss what the options are for your pet for a care plan. Following your appointment, we will provide you with a summary and update your family veterinarian or other specialist veterinarians.
